So...I'm trying to get 99 magic. Thing is that I don't have much money to spend on it. I could have around 20mil if I sold a lot of my items. But I really don't want to do that. Would anyone know a way to make money off of magic? I don't really mind the xp rate.As long as I'm getting like 20k - 30k magic xp an hour.

 

 

 

After that I'll need to know how I should get 99. Should I just string amulets all the way? Please don't suggest to go make money with any other skill than magic. If I'm not training magic in any way, I'll feel like I'm wasting my time. I know that sound kind of stupid, but that's just how I think.

Humidifying vials using a steam staff makes money and is apparently decent magic experience.

The mage training arena is profitable and yields decent XP, especially if you can cast enchant onyx in the enchantment arena then use your points to buy cosmics. Tip.it has a guide I'll get the URL in a second. Edit:

Do you know the xp rate and money that you get/make in an hour?

Some runes you just need points in 1 area, cosmic runes only need enchantment point since you use them in the enchantment arena. To buy the specialty items/abilities you need points in all areas.

We are in a similar situation. If you wanna get this level with around 20m, you have 2 good options.

 

 

 

1) MTA, as mentioned above

 

2) Diamond Bolt Enchanting. When I calculated, it's cost was 13m, however it's usually not higher than 15m and at times it could even profit.

 

 

 

Diamond bolts are also afk-able (kinda) and faster than MTA.

Over 14m. You would take the number of casts needed (of onyx enchant) and multiply that by however much a cosmic is. That's ~14m, but just know that onyx enchant is 87 magic and we're only level 82, so we still need to use dragonstone enchant for 5 levels, which is more expensive than onyx (in terms of gp/xp).

 

 

 

You might get around 300k or so back from the cosmic, death, and blood rune rewards in the minigame itself.

 

 

 

Plus it's a lot of clicking. The dragonstone enchant is about half the xp rate of Diamond Bolt enchant, and onyx enchant is still ~30k slower xp/hour.

Charging air orbs. I don't remember the exact xp rates, but it's 75xp/charge and it's relatively fast. Use a charged glory, home teleports->edgy, or Ancient Magicks with a terrorbird to speed things up.

Yeah, thats a pretty good method. I managed to get around 200k profit per hour and 40k exp ;).

It's like 10k loss per hour, really nothing big, but the xp is only 55k per hour.

So here are my plans:

 

I really don't like selling my things so I'm going to try to make the money. Going to start out charging air orbs. With that money I'm going to buy things I need for 79 summoning. And with my titan I'll try to solo/duo a pair of dragon claws. And finally....with that money I'll be enchanting diamond bolts. Hopefully it wont take too long.
