xpandax
with your stats... i would stay as far away as possible from p2p pvp. By your combat there are already pkers with 99 str, magic, and or ranged. If you want to make that account competitive, either get 99 ranged or get your strength up.

cujoman31
Like the above poster said, your kind of in a bad spot if you want to actually pvp. A lot of people around your level have pretty powerful stats. Balenced looks good on paper but in in pvp isn't too good. My advice is this. Work on range and strength and stay away from sumoning. As for setup it depends. I tend to use brews but I only really skill in pvp and I use summon to keep my combat up. If I'm getting attacked I just brew it shoots my defence up really high and gives me a chance to run
IzzetGuildmage
Summoning doesn't affect combat level in pvp? Also, while hard, it is definitely possible to be competitive with any stats. While there ARE people around with ridiculous stats, they can't KO you in less than 3 seconds so you can always teleport away if you're being attacked with dragon claws or dark bow. Another option is to find a team... if you work together with people you can trust you can risk much more compared to going solo. If you do go solo, make sure you risk your minimum, use DDS or something more expensive (if you do, keep protect item on AT ALL TIMES). Make sure you have a super restore or prayer pot, restore being preferred because it 'comboes' with sara brews of which you should have at least 4. Rest filled with either sharks or monkfish. For armour, a rune set will do, though you could try Dharoking if you're really confidant (pj'ers ruin your day, though). If you get teleblocked, you just met someone with a 99 stat. Run. IzzetGuildmage
well yes, getting 99 attack, 99 strength and 70 prayer (and piety) would snatch back the advantage relative to combat level. Cptbaker08
The only way summoning affects combat levels in pvp is if you have a pouch. And the only ones who carry a pouch are those trying to prevent lower lvls from attacking them while they skill or whatever. If you want, train summoning. IT is one of the best skills in the game. It not only is a skill in it own, but it helps all the other skills. And on pvp i see the terrorbird to be used most of the time to extend their run. But since the new update it might not be needed as much.
