  1. Happy birthday :D

  2. Dr Cujo was killed. Its because I didnt have full dungeon sweeper.
  3. I don't want to join you, I dung with my own friends who also like taking their time. Also, just because we go slower, doesn't mean we leave people stranded to do GDs by themselves, we still do those together. We also gatestone far away doors to get back to them later. I can't really speak for the people in world 148 who don't want to rush, but myself and the team I go with don't do your stereotypical stuff of leaving the keyer alone, rage quiting on death, not placing gatestones. What do you spend you time doing then? If you are gating properly, doing gd's when they need to be done, im curious as to what makes it take that much longer.
  4. Id first like to say that Ive been dungeoneering with Dungeon Sweepers for the past few days and had a positive experience. People are friendly and willing to learn, and although i havent done too many floors with the other keyers, im getting the impression that they are doing a good job. As far as this discussion is concerned, 25% of people want to take their time. what is to enjoy about slow floors? Running through 10 rooms because it isnt gated? Dying in DG's because nobody came to help? Dungeons arent "easier" if you skill and take a long time. The problem I have with these people is that they always want to seem to join my floors and earn the xp you can get doing floors in 30 minutes, but never want to hold up their end of the deal because they find doing it their way "fun". Its not fair when they keyer and 3 others are working to get a 30 minute floor while one person afk's the entire time mining rocks and fishing. Why should they be able to leech off my good xp rates when they dont want to do any of the work involved?
  5. great war. was glad i could be a part of it, and especially fun to be on the winning side.
  6. Almost everything Ive gained in the game has been from farming. Herb runs have become such habit that I dont think I could ever really stop them.
  7. Like the above poster said, your kind of in a bad spot if you want to actually pvp. A lot of people around your level have pretty powerful stats. Balenced looks good on paper but in in pvp isn't too good. My advice is this. Work on range and strength and stay away from sumoning. As for setup it depends. I tend to use brews but I only really skill in pvp and I use summon to keep my combat up. If I'm getting attacked I just brew it shoots my defence up really high and gives me a chance to run
  8. Sara sword for waterfiends and gargs. Dfs if you like to melee wyverns or metals or blacks. Also look into supplies for summoning. It's not a skill you need to grind either. Summoning is very helpful at higher levels especially with combat. Having money in shards/seconds hides your cash pile which I find helps me not want to spend my cash. Another thing you could consider is picking up verac skirt and top and praying 10 percent strength on every melee task. Also a cannon. These last 2 are more of ongoing spending projects that will help you do your tasks a lot quicker.
  9. dds is actually not that bad agaisnt irons or any metal drags, as long as you are on stab. Definatly an improvement over the whip most of the time
  10. I think this was a bit too much personally. Being able to do almost anything in combat without slowing down? Thats a bit much. Some of the changes were nice, and Id like to see them back, but they need to be looked at carefully to make sure it dosent throw the balence off too much.
  11. Nah really hoping for an addition to magic. Magic needs a complete rework. I think most know that using magic for fighting a majority of the monsters in the game isnt nearly the best way to fight them. A 15% helm isnt going to make much of a difference. Ranging on the other hand is a much more viable option to fight a lot of monsters.
  12. I think all I can say about this is that the drop best be something useful, considering the requirement to fight it isnt very high. Im really hoping for a "black mask" for range as a drop.
  13. Im working on comparing void vs black. Will it ever be posted on forums? Maybe. But probably not. If I was posting it on any kind of forums, I would want some criticism, not just a bunch of people saying "oh wow thanks". Id want to know how I could make it better, what I overlooked, etc. And really, the article didnt explain any of the math, and the conclusion was pretty obvious. Its like comparing a whip to a dragon scim.
  14. It wasnt rocket science to figure out that having a better range attack and a better range strength you are going to get more xp per hour. Especially without the if you can make xx amount of cash per hour you should use broad, the conclusion is pretty useless. Why not compare something useful, such as void vs arma or black? Try out agaisnt better monsters or see how much void really makes a difference. Also, it got into the short forms for what he was talking about way to quickly. Give people who havent been in school for a while a refresher, its not something anyone really uses on a semi-regular basis. Not to mention the people who have never see stuff like that before in their life because they either never took it in school or havent gotten that far in school. So in my opinion, second article= complete trash. First article. I can see where the author is coming from. Its hard to see the game from the perspective of someone who is ranked 500k in overall. Lower level members and ftp provide a lot of resources to the game. People with 1800+ skill total are probably going to keep playing regardless of updates. However, the game cannot survive without all kinds of lower levels playing and staying interested.
