July 3, 200917 yr Has anybody else tapped into the incredible wealth generated from this skill? I should be specific Who else enjoys doing it as well?
July 3, 200917 yr I always hated the skill but on my newest account (this one) I tried it and enjoyed it quite a bit actually. I made a far amount off it, too.
July 3, 200917 yr It's nice, provided I make time to do the runs. I actually haven't planted any trees/fruit trees in almost a year now. The rl farming takes priority over the rs farming, lol. July 3, 200917 yr Herb farming is so awesome. I think I started farming seriously around a year ago, so with 3-4 herb runs a day that's like 1.2k herb runs or ~100m profit just from herbs.

July 3, 200917 yr One of my favourite skills to do when I need a change from the usual. 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!
July 3, 200917 yr Its a great skill when you want a break from the grinding. You have to do so many things to plant and harvest any sort of crop/herb/tree. Also, a real moneymaker at just lvl 32 - cant ask for better than that. My farming is pretty low but I still love the skill.
July 3, 200917 yr Well I am a bit too lazy to do it a lot but I actually do enjoy farming and the money that come comes with it. Rune Pureeeeeeeeeeeee
July 3, 200917 yr Once I find an indepth guide for farming I might give it a shot. As for now I have 35 farming from construction and lamps  .
July 3, 200917 yr Most of my friends do daily herb runs... except me. I only farmed with trees and bushes. Rofl. Perhaps... :| :
July 3, 200917 yr I'm always a big fan of gathering raw materials yourself to cut costs, farming just helps to make it more fun and much easier!
July 3, 200917 yr I've enjoyed it for 25.6M xp and counting. It was my first 99 and remains my favorite skill. It's also funded me through 90 Construction and 99 Magic, Smithing, Crafting, Prayer, and (soon to be) Herblore.
July 3, 200917 yr I don't have too many favorite p2p skills. If anything, it's just farming, slayer, and fletching. I remembered how much I hated it when I started, and how much I loved to check my herbs, bushes and trees after level 40 or so. It's extremely profitable and relaxing to boot :D 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
July 4, 200917 yr Daily Ranarr runs are getting me 100k-130k per run (depends on ranarr prices). I have made about 35M off farming ranarrs in the last 50 days, a bonus 500k-1M a day is nice.
July 4, 200917 yr Pures can't get secateurs, so ive never been interested. Also, i tried farming once and my potatoes died, put me off forever. O.O
July 4, 200917 yr Farming I've made millions from herbs as well as 81 Herblore Suggest a poll for Tip.it - Here!
July 4, 200917 yr I just can't bring myself to farm on a video game. Maybe someday, when I run out of other things to do that I find fun, I'll give it a shot. I'm going to milk Goon's teats
July 4, 200917 yr I absolutely hated the skill from level 1 to about 45, but then when I decided to properly train the skill while going for all 50+, I couldn't stop. That was around 9 months ago, since then I've gained over 40 levels in the skill, and am past halfway to 99. I currently get ~70k xp per day, and make a profit of about 100k. When I get 99 I plan to switch to just herbs and make 1m+ per day. Can't wait for than money to roll in. I've always been a horrible money-maker, so this will really open up the opportunity for me to go for more expensive goals. 8,325th to 99 Firemaking 3/9/08 | 44,811th to 99 Cooking 7/16/084,968th to 99 Farming 10/9/09 | Runescaper August 2005-March 2010Tip.it Mod Feb. 2008-Sep. 2008 | Tip.it Crew Sep. 2008-Nov. 2009
July 4, 200917 yr Great skill, farming is. I only really play when i sign on to do my farm runs now. I changed to Magics and Palms but you don't get the same feeling of acheivment when you reach a level that should have taken three weeks in one week, so i changed back to papayas and maples. I always farm herbs constantly, they are the reason i have 84 herb and i would have no money what so ever without them. Farming is my favourite skill, but it can drain your bank alot quicker than it can fill it. :) Did you know half the worlds population is below average intelligence?
July 4, 200917 yr I'm only lvl 71 farming, but most of that is from farming herbs. I don't do it on a daily basis. Only when I think I need a bit more money. Or when I want to take a break from slayer.
July 4, 200917 yr Is there a minimum possible yield for herbs when you harvest them? 5 with supercompost and magic secateurs.
