miracleman58
Farming is amazing cash if you do just seeds but to see the wealth gain you have to do it for a long time, say 500 seeds. I personnaly cba to farm atm while i fish monks because its just to far out the way and i dont want to spend a kyatt every 2 hours :wall: You could fairy ring there? AJR takes you what? 5-10 squares farther away than Kyatt? Plus I'd imagine the profit of the herbs would far outweigh the cost of a kyatt. Yes it does far outweigh the cost of a kyatt but im to lazy aswell, And only 150k Fishing xp to go now then ill be back ;) 1593th to 99 Farming - July 08. Bearded Phil
What happens to the average when you do 2 patches and one patch yields 10 and the other dies? I'll give you a hint. Its still 5. My opinion is still valid and you are still playing some other fantasy game, end of story. If you take this mathematically that situation includes outlying data and wouldn't be taken in to consideration for it's lack of accuracy. Basic algebra right there. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I've been to the Crunch once... Bearded Phil
Also, whenever anyone says something about dying herbs they mention toadflax like it never dies. Maybe it's just me but it seems to me that my toadflax have been biting the dust more often than they used to, sometimes 2/5 on consecutive runs. anyone else having this problem from time to time? Farming ftw : _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I've been to the Crunch once... Farming ftw : It's all luck and depends on the total amount of seeds you plant, really. If you plant 50 seeds you could have a really bad couple of runs that result in those 50 seeds only averaging like 5.5 herbs each. But if you plant a good 500+ seeds you'll notice that the bad runs will always be negated by the great runs and you'll most likely end up with 6.5 herbs per seed. It's true that you need to farm a lot of seeds before you really see this all begin to happen. That's why when someone with a low farming level or who has admitted they don't plant many herb seeds says that herb farming is bad cash I don't take them seriously. Anyone who has really done their fair share of the farming of herbs knows about the average herbs per seed. |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|
cujoman31
Almost everything Ive gained in the game has been from farming. Herb runs have become such habit that I dont think I could ever really stop them.

I currently average 6.92 herbs/seed over 711 toadflax seeds. Almost everything Ive gained in the game has been from farming. Herb runs have become such habit that I dont think I could ever really stop them. Same thing for me, I even do them while at aviansies with enough supplies left or while I'm on lunars. #-o

I started playing not too long before slayer was introduced and when farming came out I loved it from the beginning because i've always been into herblore a lot too, can't explain it just am, :D . I love growing my own herbs and making potions out of them, way more than I ever did collecting them from monster drops. I feel envious of people who start farming and herblore at the same time now, I never had so much trouble collecting low level supplies as when I was killing druids for guams haha -.- _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I've been to the Crunch once...
