Since the update, a large number of things have been possible to do while doing other things. It's a bit ridiculous, but convenient.

 

 

 

For instance, now I can do barbarian rod fishing, and cut fish WHILE I'm fishing.

 

 

 

After that, I can drop the eggs or offcuts and continue to fish. Or drop the fish and just use normal bait.

 

 

 

Heck, I can eat the eggs while fishing.

 

 

 

It's like a perpetual fishing machine!

 

 

 

Anybody else have something of note to share?

Well, heck, why not bring it back? For a day, my life was much easier, and everything seemed less of a chore.

 

 

 

Granted, some of them hardly made sense, but at the same time, almost nobody complained about it (aside from the normal people), and that's pretty much a victory in my book.

Well, I was at black demons for slayer today, and I realized that it wasn't taking extra time for me to drop items, pick up items, and maybe even high alch.

Off the top of my head, I can think of fishing, mining and woodcutting about anything while dropping.

Is it possible to fletch while wc?

Due to being able to keep attacking someone while you switch gear, you can now hybrid much better in PvP/BH worlds.

Also against people who prayer switch in FOG while running away. It'll be nice to switch from my ss to my crossbow without missing a step, the only problem is switching to mage you still have to set it to autocast. Setting staves to remember your last autocast would be immensely helpful as far as that's concerned.

I have just been slaying, and thats all im going to do till im 99, but i am curious about barbarian fishing, it seems like a really good way to get xp if u can cut/drop while u fish, i imaigne people could get 60ish xp quite easily.

as i have been using this greatly i will spill my knowledge.

 

 

 

At level 80(with a granite lob) i can get ~55k-60k fishing with a heavy rod while dropping while i fish.

 

along with that comes ~5k in each str and agility an hour fishing with a heavy rod.

At 87 WC with an adze, I'm getting 85k exp/hour at teaks on ape atoll easily. I could probably push 90 if I wasn't watching batman: beyond at the same time.

 

 

 

Before, I was getting around 65k/hour and pushing 70 if I paid full attention.

Bones also bury much faster durring combat, as does cleaning herbs. (I was seeing if chaos druids dropped the new herb, as of last night, they don't, or at least so rarely as to be never)

i really don't think that this update makes a huge difference in mining, atleast with three rock mining.

 

 

 

however (not tested by me) i believe the no-delay/zarfot method may be much easier...

 

 

 

really mining is stop-start-stop-start... wood cutting is start------stop, and skills like woodcutting get the biggest change.

I tried, you finish alching before attacking again, so no.

Dropping fish while fly fishing is brilliant. I've managed to get about 15k more experience an hour than I used to.

Yeah, this is one of their new "ease of use" updates. I think it's in the list of minor tweaks after the main update.

 

 

 

It was entirely intended, unlike a lot of the other stuff that happened yesterday.
