at what level do you one hit coal like you do for iron?

I'm at 75 and not 1 hitting yet but its pretty fast

i dont think it is possible to 1 hit coal

ok cool cuz what i do is get full inv of addy from bank (minus 8 spaces) and mine the coal superheat to addy bar and repeat and coal is slightly slow and i just want to know when i can 1 hit it

the best place to do this would just be a place close to a bank, or a place you can easily tele to then tele to CW to bank

At 81 mining, i 5/10 1 hit coal. This varies though. Sometimes in a full load of coal i get no 1 hit's, and sometimes i get a full load of 1 hits. So i presume high 80's would be your answer

and i use the falador mining guild it is really good for it and i can mine more addy while stocking up on mith or coal :D

i have 99 mining...you dont really 1hit coal much at that level too...but you do notice that you will mine faster than other people...i usually 2hit coal from 95+ though

About 90 or 95. I mined rune from 98 and addy from 97 for the hell of it. It is pretty random, but your chance increases as you level

You never 1 hit coal. Every ore besides iron cannot be mined with less than 2 hits, even clay. I don't 2 hit coal all that often at 88.

RS dont make coal 1 hit coz itll make 99 smithing alot easier and thatll be like making cutting willows 1 hit and fishing lobs 1 whatever you do to catch lobs

I am 96 mining and rarely one-hit coal.

 

If it's saving time you require I can recommend superheating in the mines as it enables you to mine much more before banking. Mithril, adamantite and runite are advised. Superheating steel isn't profitable unless you sell bars, which is a waste of smithing xp.
