This is kinda bad... I just logged in to go slay some blue dragons as I couldn't sleep, so I runescripted myself. And it said I didn't appear in the Hiscores...

 

 

 

Then I went to RuneScape, and checked their highscores, and I wasn't in there.

 

 

 

And I logged in, went to appeal an offense, and saw I was perma-banned.

 

 

 

Last Chance Appeal

 

 

 

As everyone knows, I've been going for 99 Mining, 95 now. And I always play with public chat off, because I usually lag... so I guess that's why I got banned for macroing. I was scared of this when they said they were going to mass ban...

 

 

 

What should I do?

Obviously appeal it. Sound angry, but not immature. My old account was perm muted for autoing for using SwiftSwitch (when it was legal) and using it for NPC trading. Appeal didn't do me any good, I wish you the best of luck, but don't get your hopes up.

 

Also, I can't help but ask, If you knew Jagex was cracking down on bots, why would you emulate a bot? :wall:

When I read that post on the front page I almost crapped myself...

 

 

 

I instantly stopped, and went off questing/ranging...

 

 

 

Apparently not talking in public, but talking in clan chat is botting. -.-

Ok, just use proper grammar, use all capital letters when needed to, and when Jagex reads this, they'll see a mature person who just made a mistake. :)

Also add the public chat off and why you had it like that.

This statement leads me to believe you are macro'ing... You've got a 95 mining account and you don't even seem bothered its been banned...

What do you do when you break up with your girlfriend? Move on to a new girl...

 

 

 

And if I already sent in my appeal, so it's not like I can do anything about it anyway... now.

 

 

 

And if I have to be one of the legit guys who gets banned for the good of the community so be it, like I said in my blog, mining is easy... I'll just start mining again... it's not like I had anything else planned for the banned account...

 

 

 

It'll just be a continuation -8M experience :x

So you are calling the one person that gets banned, realizes that account is more than likely gone, and is willing to move on, like everyone tells the people that come here whining and wanting us to do something about it, even though we can't- filling their post with swear words and capital letters. When i read about their mass banings and their new bot detection software coupled with their no appeal macro bans, i was very scared. I haven't played a lot since.

i didn't get at least 1 minute for undeserved ban. i got 1 mute for 24h- and i was the guilty one, and so for the 10 days temp ban.

 

so i don't think jagex would do such a thing, i mean a perm ban for nothing? hmmm i smell macroing indeed.

Good Luck! I have been permabanned twice over the seven or so years I have been playing. My experience with appeals is they just send you an automated message saying, "Thanks for writing, but you are still banned".

I saw someone that sent in the season 1 pokemon theme song and got the appeal accepted! Guess you could try that! :
