I am trying to sign up for a membership. I choose the pay by Credit/Debit option.

If your debit card has a Visa sign on it, you should be able to use it exactly like a visa credit card. Otherwise, you will have to choose a different option...you could always buy a pre-paid visa card and then re-up your balance on that every month...I think that works.

If it's not on there, then no.

Debit does work as long as it is Visa or MasterCard.

I'd think you're card is supplied by RBC but will have a logo for mastercard or visa or some sort of card provider on it.

You should probably be able to use it. Look on the front for a Visa or Mastercard logo, if you see nothing, look to the back. If you can't seem to get it to work, use that debit card to buy a Visa gift card, or other credit mentioned above and proceed as planned.

Only logos are "Interac" and "Plus" :S

Why not use Interac money transfer then? Its called certapay, select "PayByCash" as your payment method and select "Certapay (Interac email money transfer)". Then follow the instructions and you should get members in an hour or 2. ;)

That's what I use, try the "Plus" option.

just put the card type if its visa or any of the options there and enter the rest of the information like u would normally

Just the ones that you get when you sign up through the runescape website. Just go to sign up, and choose "PaybyCash" as your method of payment. After you will directed to the PayByCash website, select certapay and it will give you an order number as well some intructions. Print that sheet with the instructions and order number and follow all the instructions.

 

 

 

There is a few things to know before you use Certapay though, you will be spending a little more but I found it worth it if you are buying 3+ months of membership. PayByCash will be more expensive than using a credit card though.
