Rest VS walking

Featured Replies

if you are carrying less than 15kg, with 1 agility, will you get to your destination faster if you run and rest*, or run and walk?

*resting NOT by a musician.

-It would take all of 5 minutes and a stop watch to figure it out.

Now, you question depends on how far away your destination is. Heres how to know though. If you can recharge the energy needed to reach your destination in less than half the time it takes to walk there, resting and than running is faster. So figure out how far away your destination is, and how long is takes to walk. Then figure out how much energy you would need, and then figure out how long it takes to restor the energy resting. If that time is more than half the time it takes to walk, definatly faster to walk.

I have completly ignored the fact that you recharge while walking, and at this time of night can really make up the formula for it. So, if the times are pretty close either way, chances are that walking and running as it rechages normally will be faster.

and I realized that it wouldn't take long to figure it out myself after posting the question, but the question still stands.

instead of looking at this as me being lazy, look at this as an opportunity to helps me and countless others in their quest for speedy f2p greatness.

As stated earlier, it is dependent on the distance if travel. But in a general sense, I believe that as the fast rate that rest restores run energy, spot the alliteration, it would be quicker to rest and run again.

It's a Travel and Situation thing really, just got to decide what is best at the time.

I would rest and run unles it is a very short journey.

For f2p, definitely rest and run. But do check the musician spots on your route, dont bother sit down if you know you are coming close to a musician.

Noob agility = resting

Mind you that high agility does make a large difference. If I walk my eneergy goes up with around 4 points per second, if I rest it is faster than you would have if at a musician...
