I noticed this today at dusties.

See the green splotch on the dustie? But I have nothing to poison him with...

 

 

 

At first I thought it might be a set effect from the blessed dhide, but I'm not wearing the entire set. I'm using plain iron knives.

 

 

 

Can anyone explain what is causing the green damage? I am stumped.

There has been about 2 other threads like this i believe it has something to do with bunyip and range.

Fights (level 70) Attack

 

Heals you for 2 HP regularly

 

Converts fish into water runes

 

 

 

says tip.it about bunny, but I think I've read somewhere else bunyip has a poisoning range attack, or if you range, the bunyip poisons your hit

That might explain it... but I had a bunyip while ranging waterfiends yesterday and I did not notice this effect at all.

Strange!

 

Haven't seen this yet, I'll keep my eyes peeled :)

Maybe it's very rare :D or it does only work with certain ranging weapons

This glitch was out long before summoning. Knives randomly do a poison 'splat' instead of a regular 'splat.'

But this is not "instead of" - it's "in addition to."

 

 

 

And now that I have fired up the 2nd bunyip, there's not a green splat to be seen. Odd.
