Metal_Master
Yes, yes. I did use the search button... Is Firefox recommended for playing RS? I used it, and it actually fixes a glitch I have with internet explorer, except that the sound doesn't work in RS. Anyone else have this problem? AlphaMan3
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the sound for RS never works in firefox. But, I use it anyway also, it seems to be faster for me at least
Guest andyizcool
I'm sure you won't be bothered about the sound when you're much safer than using Internet Explorer.
Mercifull
Use the Runescape client which loads into a mini version of IE. Sound does not work with Firefox as yet but Andrew promised that they are looking into a way of making it work. If you searched the boards like you said then youd know exactly what andrew said about the matter ;) Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Metal_Master
Is Firefox recommended for playing RS? I used it, and it actually fixes a glitch I have with internet explorer, What glitch? I have a widescreen laptop monitor, so when I try to play RS in Internet Explorer, first of all, the menu bar above the game is stretched and distorted, like every other webpage. Also, the RS screen expands to fill the page, but most of it is that gray java blank. Only the upper left corner is the RS window. Ill post a screenshot. crucifyed4us
Only problem I have with Firefox is that if I have RS in one tab I cannot type anything in any text boxes or the URL bar. As I type it moves the cursor back one letter for each letter I type, almost as though I have the OVR option in Word on, but backwards. Oh well, I've got better things to do anyway.
