Recession hitting Jagex?

America's economy isn't affecting a worldwide MMORPG based out of England. I'm sick of the "in this economy" schtik from people now. It's all over advertising and television. Every time something turns down it's blame the economy.

I totally don't understand what your trying to say? It sounds as if your saying that America is the only country that is having economic problems. If that's what your saying, you couldn't be more wrong. MMORPG based out of England? Jagex is based in Cambridge, England.

Also, nobody is blaming anything on the economy. It's a discussion about how Jagex are coping.

If you didn't mean what I thought you did, I apologise.

My bank sent me such a device for when I log on to their site and transfer money, pay bills, check my balance etc.

It's a random number generator with an access PIN. The bank sends you a number to put into it and the device gives you a number to enter into the log in. Completely safe. I'm comforted to know my luverly munnies is totally secure and no-one else can get at it.

If Jagex think that they need to roll out such a device and it makes you feel safer for all your hours of hard grinding, then it's your choice whether you take up the offer.

Me? I'm in =D>

I'm talking about how all Americans think that because we have a bad economy it must affect everything in the entire world when that is not the case.

"He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."

I personally think a portion of the Runescape content team was shifted over to finish Mechscape and perhaps due to the economic conditions, they were moved instead of hiring more people to complete it.

I also think that's why they chose this as their "Upgrayedd" year. Fewer content developers, so less people to do the work, so they make "upgrades" that obviously don't require the time investment that a new piece of content does.
