On the subject, anyone know where to start learning Japanese?

I like the second one, but the first one is too dark everywhere except where the sun is glaring.

I had considered fixing that, but ultimately the feeling of laziness prevailed.

I mean, I do like it, but I just feel it could be better.

Turn your ISO down, and bump your f number up to not blow out the sky.

That doesnt always work, the sky will blow out if the sun is simply too bright. Nothing could prevent that, unless you use some strong ND filter.

 

(Or, you merge multiple exposures, but thats a different story)
