ore banking?

Best way to mine and bank iron ore is to summon a Kyatt familiar (57 summoning) and use the teleport option and it will leave take you close to the Piscatoris mine which has 3 iron rocks. Mine until you have a full inventory and then teleport back to Castlewars to bank. Rinse and repeat.

As for coal I always just use the mining guild because it has a ton of rocks that are close to a bank. You can't really get much better than that.

If you had 57 summoning, you could mine iron ore with a kyatt and bank at cw using the ring, Other wise mining in yanille would be best.

For coal, i don't know. I guess using the coal trucks would be best, but im not sure. If you done the seers achievement diary it would be a lot better.

A little north of the town. There is a big area with ores, and a bank deposit box near the pier i believe. Can't miss it.

I love this :D

I'm currently going for 99 Mining banking everything...

I'm mining iron at Yanille, http://tip.it/runescape/?page=port_khazard_mine.htm that's the Port Khazard mine, a quick run south is the Yanille Bank.

I don't really recommend mining coal for money, if you are planning on banking it for your own smithing I'd guess you could mine at the coal trucks or the Mining Guild, both of which are decently fast. Coal is really best acquired from your kingdom. :P

Check out my Mining Guide, viewtopic.php?f=180&t=797213 [/self-advertising].

EDIT: @ Tigershelby, I'm pretty sure you have to a couple of quests to access them, Yanille bank is the way to go

EDIT2: Also, everyone knows xxxgod is the mining spammer/fanboy, I'm the real oracle of knowledge on the matter. :P

wouldntthat be coser to bank in the port though?

It may seem like it, but it's a straight shot from the ores to the Yanille bank, while you have to run around that little inlet to get to Khazard deposit box.

I've timed myself a few runs and I've found it takes almost the exact same time. I just prefer using the Yanille bank though.

Nice mining guide Knotch.

Beat me to it Lunar.

No it's really not. I've timed a bunch of runs at 92+ mining, coal is really really inefficient.

It's not, though. You should have been able to mine at least 400 coal an hour using the proper transport method, and probably closer to 500.

Without summoning, you make just about the same amount of money per hour with iron, coal, and addy. Mith is less, gold is more, and obviously runite is much, much more.
