JoeDaStudd
Hi, Just curious on a few things. 1. Ravenous Locust scroll eats the players food, does this work in single combat? 2. Forge Regent same as above. 3. Praying Mantis scrolls, do they work if a enemy is running away but was in combat with you? Or did the familiar have to be in combat? 4. Bunyip swallow whole scrolls have a delay, but also don't cut into attack turn (well they don't seem to) are they worth using? 5. Any other worth while familiars (excluding BoB) at level 79 summoning? I take it titans are a bit hit and miss as its only 24 hp for the first minute and 14 there after. Before anyone says you can summon them all, I'm at work atm so can't play for another 4 hours+. Thanks to anyone who replies. ghjkl
I don't know the answers to most of your questions but if you want the extra combat lvls, definately use a titan. Instant healing without a delay or use of inventory space is amazing. If you use a bunyip, you will either heal too early, and be called a safer and your opponent iwll stop fighting you, if you use too late you are dead. JoeDaStudd
Thanks With the whole you don't keep your times think I was thinking it might be fun to almost anti PJ with a Ravenous Locust, Forge Regent or Praying Mantis. If the top 3 work I would seriously have some fun; disarm them, kill there healing source or fubar then running plans  . Anyone want to answer the top 3 for me? rooftrellen
1 and 2. Effects should only take place in multi combat. However, if you find yourself in a multi area, both of these familiars are amazing. Please note, I have not tried to use either of these, but I think its a pretty safe bet, when you extend the rules that are applied to other familiars like these. 3. Again, I have not tried this, but I imagine it would work like any other scroll. The enemy does not have to be in combat with you or your familiar, just in a multi combat zone. 4. No, normal food eatten at the right time will not slow your next attack, unless you are using a very fast weapon. Fast weapons have their use, but if you are using melee, whips or godswords will be better than d daggers or claws (except for the spec with a whip). The lack of instant healing could be deadly, so its not worth the risk. 5. Titans are great for combat situations. They are like stackable, somewhat weaker sara brews, but without the down side, and they are quite strong if in multi. Talon beasts are great for combat, but not much else. Barker toads can be good, and cheaper (and easier to get), but I would not suggest them over the talon beast.
GibberEsh
K for 4) After the summoning tab got moved, bunyip scrolls have no delay. Just click the summoning icon, click raw food in your inventory and it activates right away.

JoeDaStudd
Ok 1, 2 and 3 don't work in single but I just had some fun in multi punching a PJ'er (monk robe and DDS :?) to death with a locus on a BH + 0 world. Funniest thing ever he was praying melee and running as a guy with a locus, 2 sharks and dhide punched him to death \ . He even said good fight  Thats got to be the most fun thing I've done it a long time. meb
The titan is great at sara GWD and DK's if you don't have the pony. It keeps you topped off just as well as a pony. I also use my titan for multicombat Slayer tasks. That way I get both a familiar and a healing source that doesn't slow me down. This becomes worse when you get access to better combat familiars though. But the titan is definately worth it because 79-88 is a pretty big gap. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
