I would like some suggestions on monsters to kill for decent xp and drops if you could give advice it would be appreciated. Also while i'm at it rock crabs or experiments? i know rock crabs have some drops but are they any good?

If you can, avoid rock crabs and experiments, there is little wealth to be had. I'd recommend slayer tasks or green dragons. Or you could range blue dragons in taverly dungeon.

Try Slayer if you want the XP, and Green Drags if you can put up with the crowds.

 

 

 

You could try killing ankous , they give around 150k cash and 40k combat exp per hour , full guthans and salve ammy (e) are usefull there.

For melee, just do some slayer. You get exp in another skill, and you can make quite a bit of money.

 

 

 

For range, slayer is still doable, but brutal greens give a heck of a lot of money and decent exp (only problem is you have to bank so often).

 

 

 

For mage...well, there is no good way to make money off combat magic. Metal dragons are decently fast, but you would have to get very lucky to make money. Bursting rock lobs is also decent, if you value charms. Barrows is slow, but its profitable, at least.

Slayer is definitely one of the best ways to make money (once you hit 85+) so I would suggest training slay until you can start getting the delicious tasks like dark beasts and abby demons
