Best Ranged Armor/rings/capes

Featured Replies

Hi, my stats are

Att 80

Str 80

Def 80

Hp 80

Mag 72

Ranged 66

Sum 50

I'm working on ranged right now, and was wondering what the best rings/capes for ranged, mage, and melee were? and are the black d hide coifs and all that new (to me) stuff better than a ranger helm? Rings and capes I would like to know mostly, if you can answer any of the questions that would be great. I took a 2 yr break from RS, so I'm just a little lost.

I'm working on 70 ranged, so I'm looking for best 70 ranged equipment, if that wasn't clear.

Void, Ranger boots > Snakeskin boots, Rune Crossbow, Unholy Book, Broad bolts = Addy bolts > Mith Bolts, Accumulator > Fire cape.

for range i would use either black d hide or blessed d hide if you can afford it and want to look cool. a blessed coif is better than archer helm, but a robin hood hat is best. for cape use avas accumulator. ring would be archers ring. fury or glory depending on whch you can afford

if you give us how much you are willing to spend we could probably come up ith the best set ups for range melee and mage

I'm willing to spend 2 mill or so. Also, how do you make the list of your stats and w/e to go in your sig? I'm new.

With your budget, you should go for snakeskin boots (17k) rune C'bow (10k) unholy book (+8 to all offensive stats), broad bolts are 60-ish ea, and are equal strength to addy bolts (55 slayer req), and the accumulator for picking up your arrows (animal magnetism req).

Hope this helps.

ring would be archers ring

Archer's Ring (i)

And to the above poster, snakeskin boots are only 17k :? Broads = Addy, not just "about equal strength."

Oh well, when I got some from a clue earlier this month they were 30k *checks ge graphs* hmm. strange. Maybe I sold 2 pairs.

I've changed the wording.[/hide]

Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it.

Suggestions appreciated

This guide is as concise as a gourmet's handbook with the guidelines of "Pick up fork, stab food, insert into your mouth, then chew".

26king screwed up some of the prices.

I think one thing I really wanted to know was what capes or rings were good for each form of combat

Why are you spending 2mil on range if you are only going from 67-70?

What a waste of cash.. Forget the equipment.. Get the minimum best you can get (forget about ranger boots, robin hood hat, or anything expensive).. don't worry about unholy books if you haven't done the quest.. if you start ranging right away, you'll get to 70 before doing the quest and getting the book and then using that to range. It's only minimal help.

Make it simple:

-accumulator

-archers ringer (I would personally use a ring of wealth, but it depends on what I'm training on)

-glory/fury ammy

-red dhide

-archer helmet/black dhide coif

Now get out there and train!
