slayer helm and black mask work for range on tasks now? just curious im at irons and see alot of people even 130+ using slayer helm with range

As far as I know this has not been changed, and I think I would have seen an update about something like this as it is pretty major.

They're probably just to lazy to switch it.

I was slaying aberants today using range and a slayer helm, and i didn't notice any difference in max hit or accuracy.

I think it might just be that these people you see ranging in them are probably switching as quickly as possible between tasks, and without much thought put into an alternative helmet for ranged bonuses.

Slayer helm looks cool and has awesome defense bonuses (Rune full equivalent).

 

 

 

Otherwise, it doesn't do anything else for a ranger.

 

 

 

Perhaps some people are superstitious of hidden updates?
