I noticed that too... but I couldn't point out which games does "Stellar Dawn" sound like. Anyways, everyone seems NOT to like Mechscape or Stellar Dawn, so I think Jagex should change the name and delay the game another 6 months :roll: I'm in for MechDawn.
August 15, 200916 yr I really don't care about the name. As long as it is a good game, I'll play it. Although it might be a good idea to leave out the 'scape.
August 15, 200916 yr I think they'll ditch any name with 'scape' in it to separate the game from Runescape. They're trying to target an older audience, and Runescape for many MMORPG players is seen as a rubbish kid's game. Nemo vir est qui mundum non reddat meliorem..
August 16, 200916 yr Eclipse Sounds alot better then Stellar Dawn and MechScape. But if it was between MechScape and Stella Dawn I would honestly pick MechScape as the better name. (even when it comes out i'm still gonna call it MechScape anyways :lol: )
August 16, 200916 yr I don't know why people are so against Mechscape. Why not associate a new game with one that already has millions of customers, even if you are targeting an older audience? Chances are, there are plenty of Runescape fans that started playing at a young age and grew up. It's not that much of a stretch: World of Warcraft Starcraft Can you spot the similarities? Hard to believe both games were made by the same company, huh? But seriously, aren't we putting too much stock into the name? If the game sucks, it doesn't matter what you call it, it won't make it any better of a game. If the game is good, are you really going to turn away in disgust because of the title at the top? I don't care if it's called Boobies and Beer, if the game rocks then I'm going to play it.
