July 20, 200916 yr I like to always keep MTK fresh and "exciting," so I usually cycle through what resources I withdraw. Usually, one week I'll do 10 Fish/5 Flax, the next week I'll do 10 Fish/5 Maples. As said earlier, Maples are a bit risky, but you can make a nice chunk off of the crushed birds' nests you get, and there's always that chance that you can get a higher-end seed or bird egg. But for pure profit, it's generally always 10 Fish + 5 Coal/Maples.
July 20, 200916 yr Yea, I do 10 maples, and 5 fish currently. Flax used to be really good profit, but not since the release of the G.E. DO what you find works for you: I use maples for FM and the seeds for farming, so it works out great, but if it didn't, I'd go to uncooked fish. Honestly, why would anyone ever want to get cooked fish? There's just no point. "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security."
