the card i don't want to buy is $16 USD, used, and SH was 4.95...

i'm only buying the old pokemon cards for nostalgia. and second, i'm not spending hundreds of dollars on it. after buying four cards, i'm pretty much going to stop.

I don't think buyers can get negged anymore. Ebay stopped it because too many sellers were abusing the system using it as a bargaining chip.

 

 

 

At any rate, offer him the $2 bucks he paid to list the item. You're still breaking the contract as was said, but at least that way no harm, no foul.

It's not like he's going around bidding on things he's not gonna buy, he just bid on something he decided he didn't want.

The guy who was selling the card is going to get billed by eBay, though, for seller's & listing fees. There is harm done.

my conclusion, i'm not going to pay for the item. i'll try to work it out with the seller and plus, my friend had this problem too and he managed to get through it.
