tintdawg
So I stopped burning monks at 90. I noticed there is no entry for this in the cooking guide only sharks, tuna, swordfish. Obviously this is for the cooking gauntlets, but I thought burning levels for other food would be useful as well.
Agent1777
There is a small post that says 90 or 91 you stop burning monks. Tip.It's Official Undercover Agent
Dragarr
I think he is talking about having that information inside the Cooking Guide. At the moment the only Monkfish burning information inside the guide is this. An intensive study has shown that cooking gauntlets affect monkfish cooking success, but only slightly. At cooking levels over 80, the improvement rate averaged a mere 2.5%. Stop burning levels are not available at this time. Jagex has not announced any affect of gauntlets on cooking monkfish. Duke_Kaleb
Both myself and my cousin have gotten 99 cooking on our mains. Yet still I see in your Cooking guide that you have not yet confirmed that at level 90, while wearing cooking gauntlets, you no longer burn monkfish. I've cooked thousands of monkfish after level 90 (as has my cousin) and not once have I ever burned one after level 90. I feel it's about time you updated that part of the guide. Because while cooking in Rogues Den, I heard a lot of people asking what level you stop burning monkfish at, and everyone who was 90+ cooking there all agreed that it was level 90. Edit: These two topics have been merged together! Thanks. ~ SerpentEye
Duke_Kaleb
I hope to soon see a correction on the website concerning this! I think it's safe to say that all players with 99 cooking can attest to cooking monks at level 90 with gauntlets, is 100% successful all the time. Wachtwoord
Thanks all for your input. However, before we can add anything like this, we need to know which level you stop burning monkfish without cooking gauntlets. As I have no problem adding them to the table, but we need to know the stop burning level without gauntlets first. Crew Edit: Allegedly it's Level 92. I don't know if this is true or not though! - SerpentEye When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done. All skills 80+

Wachtwoord
In my eyes, it doesn't really matter whether it's 90, 91 or 92. The numbers are approximations anyway. However, we still need numbers for burning without gauntlets before we can add this. Cowman_133
There may not be a noburn level for without cooking levels. Is anyone able to confirm this?
Speedyshel
So I've been cooking endlessly without gauntlets and at level 89 I burned 1 every 70 monks and when I hit 90...none. So, in my case, I also stopped burning at level 90 (only in my case without gauntlets). From this topic, it's even clearer that using gaunts makes very little to no difference in cooking monkfish. Edit: After confirming the no-burn level of Monkfish to be 90 without gauntlets, it has been added to the guide. Thanks for all the contributions and discussion regarding this. We appreciate it  - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
