Darkbeni2
I agree , some of the high leveled armor/weapons are way to overpriced. I myself dont really care If my character looks expensive, I have mills stacked up in the bank but dont see the point to buy dragon/barrows/bandos etc. The stats for rune are fine and its cheap , I would care if I died with rune on. I get bandos since its rare and str bonus, but torso works just fine with barrow gloves d boots and a fury. which is a lot cheaper. \ 99 Cooking Achieved on 12/24/07[hide=Stats + Goals][/hide] Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Sir_Kurity
Barrows is definitely not overpriced, and apparently its good. Third age is decorative. Dragon is decorative. Bandos is useful, and decorative. O.O
stonewall337
You can always sell the higher end armor when you are done, and make back some, if not all or even profit by doing so. Guest
I don't think it is too expensive as the game is quite awash with cash anyway. In fact I think it should cost more. When people moan about something being too expensive its usually because they don't have the cash to pay for it nor the inclination to get that cash. I personally would have liked to have seen more thought go into the combat process itself, meaning the weaknesses armour have are more evident. The way the game works at the moment is 'I'll have bandos because its got great stats'. Take plate armour for instance, its supposed to have weak crush stats so I should be able to take a hammer or other blunt weapon and score highly on the hits, but with chain armour i'd struggle with more with this weapon. I'd like to see a bit more thought go into combat rather than just a case of victory for those with the best or expensive armour.

I get bandos since its rare and str bonus, but torso works just fine with barrow gloves d boots and a fury. which is a lot cheaper. \ Wait, are you saying that the torso works fine? Sorry, but I choose a Rune Platebody over that, because of it's bad defences, the small strength bonus doesn't make it good enough from the loss of defence. Sure, maybe these items are a little overpriced, I myself use Bandos Chestplate and Tassets while slaying, aside from the fact I can afford it, I find it has good enough defences for a Bunyip to heal enough, and isn't much of a downgrade from what Torag's offered me in terms of defence. These items are expensive, because of how they come into the game. GWD is no easy task, and even in a large team, you don't get a lot of kills, and you don't get an item every trip. So, why are these items so expensive? Because if they were too cheap, no-one would bother using the supplies to try get them, then eventually, they'd shoot up even higher because of the demand, with none or very little coming in, just so players will find it worth their while to try obtain them again. quelmotz
Low level stuff is generally better for training... So true - in terms of cost to effeciency ratio. Click here for an awesome suggestion to revive smithing!
