Microsoft Word settings issues

Featured Replies

The company i work for uses Microsoft word 2003 and recently i changed the page size and margins to fit a different paper size. However, when i try to revert the paper size back to A4, and exit word, it goes back to the size it was at before. I know there must be a simple way of doing it, but i cant figure it out.

(im typing this on my mobile phone so sorry if it isn't up to moderator standards)

Saving a file at normal page standards might work, but don't quote me on that.

Why does a moderator need english standards? Noone should care as long as the mod is cool.

90% of off topic post normally anyway, and it's not like the way you post would be like that, it'd be less gramatical. Woop-de-do.

If Das chews noobs, what noobs should Das choose to chew?

Have you tried the revert to default setting? I am sure Microsoft Word has one somewhere.

File>Page Setup

On the bottom left hand corner of pop up window click default.

Does that solve the problem at all?

I have the opposite problem to yours, mine is stuck on A4 and no matter what margins/paper setting I change to, when I close and reopen Microsoft Word, it goes back to the A4 setting. :?

Ah, I see your dilemma. You and the company you work for appear to use windows.

You will find the solution for your problem here and here

Hope that solves your problem. ;)
