can someone give advice about Aquanites killing? I have got it for slayer task.

 

Is ranged better"?

 

 

 

I have 94 range, 95 mage, maxed combat stats, some good armour.

Range is better. Wear gear with range attack boost and mage defense (dragonhide, Karils, Armadyl). You'll be praying the whole time. Use a crossbow with broad bolts. Bring a Bunyip or other healing familiar.

I'm just going by what the guide said. : So, the guide could be wrong.

Range beats out maxed combat. Just get a high mage defence, a familar that will heal you, and use prayer (prayer flashing if possible) when your food is running low.

The time your prayer is cut off is very short.

Wear waterfiend gear along with zamorak spear for the stab option. On a task it is always better to melee. You should not have to pray all the time, with a bunyip or a unicorn you should do fine. Bring alch runes for the water battles staffs.

On task melee is definitely better no doubts about it. Off task melee vs. range.. they are probably the same speed.

 

 

 

As for what to wear.. here is what I wore.

For your weapon use a Zammy Spear with the Stab option. A bunyip to heal with swallow whole scrolls (since they drop raw food) unless you have a uni then use the unicorn.

 

 

 

That should be about it.
