gorgoroth
Well i've had alot of player tell me that getting 85 Slayer for the soul purpose of killing Abbysal Demons is not worth it, i will be dissapointed. Now however grand 85 Slayer sounds, i don't intend on getting it if its just going to be useless hastle. I would probably camp there for ages if its worth it, but otherwise with 83 slayer i could make my money from Mages. Should i just continue and get the 85 or should i stick with 83 and use Pies whenever i feel like Abby Demons? Before you answer keep the following in mind. I intend on getting 99 Ranged on either Demons or Mages. I would prefer doing it on demons since i want to get 90+ Summoning too and ive heard they are decent crimson droppers. So this would be a 2 birds with one stone situation (Charms and Money). Thought? **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
mmmcannibalism
Abby's are nice for range or melee training with a decent enough crimson rate to consider them for casual charm hunting. If you aren't obsessive about time efficiency then they are a really good choice; they are a very good mix of experience, money, and charms Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed. manitstinks
Right now, camp at aquanites while the range ammy is still high. When i camp at abby demons, I never seem to get a whip, but when I'm on task, Idk coincidence or not. Just keep slaying to 90 and stop there
Cptbaker08
You can either get to 83, camp SP Mages for boots. With that money you got from camping then you can go and use magic on Rock Lobs for charms to get summoning. It might increase the cost as you'll be spending the money on runes, then you'll need more for the seconds and shards. -OR- You can continues to 85, and camp demons for range exp and some money. Also trying to range mages isn't to advised as they have a very strong magic attack and unless you use prayers it can get nasty. Along with the exp and money you'll get some charms. I think the crimsons are like 1:3 for their drop rates. Not to sure buts it still pretty nice. Not as nice as waterfiends, but waterfiends don't have the ability to be range or the ability to drop a 2m+ item on 1 drop. -OR- Right now, camp at aquanites while the range ammy is still high. I wouldn't though as i hear the charm drops are terrible and not that good. Anything i find that the creatures in the Slayer Cave drop mostly green charms while the ones in the tower seem to drop more of the wanted charms (Crimsons from Nechs and Demons, blues from Gargs). Also 85 slayer is a nice thing, but get prepared to get flamed from some people that hate campers. I hate campers but if you don't get in my way i won't mind. And if you ever happen to want to train slayer you'll be close to 99 with 85 rather then 83. Okay i'm not sure about your stats or anything, but have you ever tried getting 600k Slayer Exp? Thats 40 tasks. The ammout of time i play per day means that its gonna take me about 4 weeks to get from 83- 85. Its not "nothing" :P Edit: 97 Slayer -.- GF. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
zotto
It will take me one month as well. I don't play so much either. Now a bit more since it is holidays. I've been doing slayer for a long long time. Ever since it came out. It's not exactly nothing of course, but you will get several spiritual mage tasks when doing 40 slayer tasks anyway. Lots of cannonable stuff if you want to accelerate the experience accumulation. And you can also do it part time. Let it take you 2 months. No shame in that. Is 85 slayer worth it? hmmm Is 83 slayer worth it? There are better ways of making money than spiritual mages. From that perspective 83 slayer isn't 'worth' it either. 83 slayer is rather close to 85 slayer though. Maybe it will be satisfying to do the whole thing. As someone with a very high Slayer level, would you reckommend i do it till high 90's? Should i turn this into my main Money maker and do a bit of GWD inbetween? How much has Slayer made you? I'd be looking to make enough money for 99 Prayer and 99Summoning as fast as i can, will Slayer get me this faster than most other things when i reach 85+? **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
zotto
I'm not rich at all. I have of course the usual gear: bandos, sgs, dfs etc. But only 10M in the bank. It's a steady income, but not really something that will bring you riches. I could have more money, but I decided to cannon the last 5 levels. I only have 68 summoning, and 80 prayer (but 9k Crimsons in the bank at the moment). Clearly not stats of a rich person.

Might want an Ags instead of SGS because i do plan on doing ALOT of GWD (Sara dn Bandos) to help me on my way to 99Summoning and Prayer. Slayer should get me that (im buessing 130mil) quite fast if i get a few lucky tasks? **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
zotto
If you don't cannon you make quite a lot of money, especially with your melee stats. There are only a few tasks that don't bring in money. Also slayer points are a good money maker. I still have 2000+ slayer points at the moment. I'm saving them up at the moment because the slayer loot is currently paying for the cannonballs and I don't need any special equipment at the moment (most cannoning in ranging void currently). But to be honest I assist my income (when I really want something) with farming herb seeds and MTK. But I couldn't give you an hourly income. I don't keep track. I also keep half the herbs from slayer drops for my own herblore leveling.
gorgoroth
So you're saying that i could definitly make enough money to get Bandos + Ags through Slayer in a decent ammount of time? **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
zotto
You can, if you don't cannon too much, and collect loot religiously. To speed things up I strongly recommend farming herbs on the side, or some other none-time consuming activity that makes money.
gorgoroth
Hmm thanks alot for the advise :) Very helpfull indeed  EDIT: I havent cannoned a task since 70 Slayer and i dont intend on doing so unless i reach 90+ Slayer and yes, i do collect loot like no tomorrow. Even the 100gp drops are picked up. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
