Igor
I've heard from quite alot of people that sc is great for xp. Does this include the time to get the special sc item? For instance, if it took me 1 hour to get the axe, and half/hr to use it would I have gotten more xp just skilling for a straight hour and a half? Thank you. Danqazmlp
It depends on the item and how you use it really, it's very use-specific. Basically, if you use it faster than you get it, it isn't worth it. But then factoring in some skills when your halving the costs of leveling them, it's all down to personal choice. Cptbaker08
If you're cheap, or just want to conserve money, they are great to use. If you join a clan you can get 20 points a game, at the least, and the games only last about 15 mins. So you can get 3-4 tools in a hour. Depends on how many points you get. Only a few of the tools are great to use. Mainly for crafting, smithing, and construction. Mike_Ike111
No matter what, you should end up with at least 20 points a game because getting over 20k score is easy. That comes to 1 morphic tool per game. I'd say it is completely worth it.
All_Is_Great
SC is one of the funner minigames, and the fact it halved the cost for construction, was a great incentive for me. It also halves the cost for crafting, smithing, magic, and fletch. But don't use it for skills like wc, hunter, mining, because i think thats just a waste. Dexek
Well, I consider it to be the funnest mini-game on Runescape, so I definitely swear by it. It's also nice to cut costs & time for skilling/combat training in half. Sure, some of the types of tools aren't worthwhile, but most are. Generally if it's not a resource gathering skill, or melee then it is worthwhile. Range is only worthwhile for chinning I believe, as it is so costly. Mining is worthwhile for star hunting (did that form 80-90 mining). I'm currently using robes for magic, and then might get a couple other stats up. I really just play for fun, and the benefits are an even greater bonus. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
