Lobby4
What is the rule against disruptive behavior supposed to mean? Kill stealing? Some random guy dancing in front of your official clan screenie? I mean earlier I was following someone to the ZMI altar (in the official world which is full of people following each other) and she freaked out and said I couldn't follow. She stopped, and me and the other guy following her just laughed in disbelief. She eventually said we were reported for disruptive behavior. Seriously. #-o The same thing happened soon after, I wouldn't stop following, and she reported me again. Since following somebody (even if they don't want to be followed for some odd reason) isn't at all disruptive to gameplay, I'll assume nothing will come of the reports, right? And as I asked earlier, what does this rule actually do?
squidsquash
You can get reported for dancing in front of someone taking a screeny or video? Cause I saw a guy in Shilo Village making a guide for it and danced in front of him and laughed when he got really mad and hopped \

Lobby4
The knowledge base is there for a reason. http://www.runescape.com/rules/rule_ina ... anguage.ws I knew someone would send me this link. I already read it, did you? If you did I'm sure you would notice they don't describe "disruptive behavior" apart from flooding the chat window. If this was all they meant they would have "flooding the chat window" instead of "disruptive behavior". Read your links before you tell me to please. :shame:
Judobreaker
someone else being rude or offensive That's disruptive behavior. You could say it's disruptive language, but it's quite possible to offend someone without using actual disruptive words. That's like me runecrafting at the same altar as you, me asking you to leave, you don't, then I report you. :?
forestfrolic
Why did you follow her? To be annoying? Nemo vir est qui mundum non reddat meliorem..
Judobreaker
Why did you follow her? To be annoying? That is exactly the question you should ask. What you did started merely as hitchhiking which is not a crime. When she kept asking you did not stop following. What was the reason for this and what were your reactions to her? If you started to make a bit of fun of her and annoy her a bit then you are starting to enter the realm of Disruptive Behavior (this is starting to sound like a game... xD). I don't know how strict Jagex is on this matter, but I suggest to stop following people when they keep asking you to stop. Judobreaker
You can definitely report someone for following you around all of runescape just to annoy you. My guide: Ring of Wealth explained 8 Dragon Boots (885 kills, 1/111, with RoW)

Duke_Kaleb
Taken directly from the Help - Respect category in the Report Abuse screen: Disruptive behavior includes flooding the chat window with lines of unnecessary chat, but only if you feel it's impairing your gameplay. This means spamming the chat window. I highly encourage you to put the player who is spamming on your ignore list and also encourage players around you to do so also. Taken directly from the Help - Respect category in the Report Abuse screen: You shouldn't report any chat that has been starred out (like this:****), as the censor has prevented anything that may have been offensive from being seen. Seriously offensive language includes racism and chat of a sexual nature. The answer would be no. The censor is doing it's job. If the player keeps annoying you - simply right click his/her name and click ignore. Wall-Ah peace and quite. :
Duke_Kaleb
You can definitely report someone for following you around all of runescape just to annoy you. NO. This is not reportable. I recommend turning private chat to OFF and hoping worlds for a little while. Move to a different place then log back into your previous world if you'd like. Runescape is a BIG place - it's easy to hide if you want to \

Again, not to be annoying, just if you're running there somebody is likely to follow you. I wonder how many people she reported...
Duke_Kaleb
Well, luckily none of those players were breaking any rules by following her - so nothing will happen to their accounts. Lets just hope someone was nice enough to step and and give her advice on what rules are and why not to report for simply following someone at the ZMI altar. Oh she was informed many times, whoever told her was proclaimed wrong and a noob. Ooh and I forgot the really funny part where she decided following her was autoing and may have reported me a third time. Oh well, now that I'm reassured nothing will happen I'll stop venting on H@A. Friendyboy
I would have reported her for abusing the "report abuse" system. You cannot be reported for following. This is the correct thing to do in that situation. Same applies for people who report for someone stating a starred word. It is simply idiotic to even contemplate a report for following. 16x Black mask1x Dragon Chainbody1x Dragonic Visage32x Dragon BootsObsidian Drops:-13 x Cape/ 6 x Shield/ 6 x Maul/ 750+ Onyx Tips
