forestfrolic
My concern is that if I get a lot of magic levels alching/superheating, my hitpoints level will be really low for my combat level. My stats are only 72 attack, 70 strength, 70 defense, 70 range, 60 magic, and 73 hitpoints. Is this a legitimate concern? Or does it not really matter? It's a silly question that I've been wondering about for weeks now. Nemo vir est qui mundum non reddat meliorem..
Jeffwilson99
I don't think it ought to matter too much, you'll get plenty of hit points exp while training melee and range. And while superheating you're training two skills at once, which is a bonus.
doogsidoof
well, assuming that you dont use pest control or soul wars for melee xp, i think that using non combat spells wont hinder your account too much. and if you ever get your melee stats and ranging to 99 im sure that you could never use combat spells again and still get 99 hp. What about Pest Control and Soul Wars? Using those to get faster levels in combat skill will mean you miss out on HP Exp. But if you do just normal combat you should get 99 hp. Also ranging will get you some HP exp. I'm going to be getting 99 hp after 99 def. But ill be training str then so it won't matter to much. All_Is_Great
You won't start gaining combat levels until your 95 mage if you dont train melee. If magic > (Atk + Str) *1.5, then you will be magic based, and your combat will rise with magic levels. (72+70)/1.5 = 94 and 2/3. So you have nothing to worry about ;)
Dexek
You don't really have to worry about hitpoints experience when it comes to magic. It's among the slowest hitpoint training method around (unless you spend a ton). Simply train one of your other combat stats past the experience for 99 in order to gain any lost hitpoints experience.
