Is longbow or shortbow better?

So assuming I am not a member, which bow is better? Short bow or longbow? I know that longbow is more powerful, but does it mean i can do more damage?

Basically.. always use shortbow. It's faster and nobody uses longbow for a reason. Longbows do not higher damage, but they allow you to shoot from farther away.

Short bow because it's quite faster and you usually don't have to range other enemies from a quite far distance, so a longbow isn't needed.

 

 

 

Plus, longbows are not stronger than a short bow, however if so happen to desperately want to use a long bow, I would recommend a willow composite bow.

The only time i see use for a longbow is when your at clan wars in FFA. On top of the 2 structures, Ranging each other.

Long bow used to be used quite a bit in PvP as it had a 100% chance of hitting, 3 specs per bar (if you time it right) and could hit from a big distance away. Then switching to a short when you close in on them.

then it will bascially transform ur hits into constant stream of damage while using the lowest cost.

From what I hear, shortbows have the same accuracy and power as the longbow.

 

 

 

Shortbow has a higher firing rate (more dps)

 

Longbow has a higher range.

 

 

 

So use longbow only when you're too far away to use shortbow.

The Short bow is much better, its a lot faster. Longbows shoot further but no other bonus. But if you do want to shoot long range use a comp bow as they have a little more accuracy.

Longbows can be useful in clue scrolls.

Shortbow on rapid or composite bow on accurate. I don't really know anyone who uses longbow, except maybe magic for spec attacks. But even that is uncommon.
