My mouse suddenly functions properly again :D No idea what the problem was or what fixed it but still if someone has some information it would be good to know for the future. Hi. Forgive me in advance if I am not giving enough information as I am not the least bit savvy in this area. I run Windows XP with a very basic 3 button Logitech mouse. Suddenly the scrolling wheel will only work when scrolling up. When I try to scroll down it moves about 3 lines and then stops completely. Either that or try end the process called SetPoint[Caution: Executable File] (press Ctrl Alt Del to get to Task Manager). It does more damage than good. I am not running this process. I doubt you have some sort of a warranty for a mouse, but if you just want a 3 button mouse with a scroll wheel you can get those for like $5.
