Hi everyone. I was on my pure today and I killed a highwayman on my way to the rock crabs. I then proceeded to look at the drop ,as I normally do from monsters, knowing it would only be a cape and bones but to my surprise there were iron bolts! :o I picked them up and there were 3 normal iron bolts. I have a screenshot but I am confused as how to post it. :oops: Anyways if anyone could tell me how I would like to know as I would love to show my discovery here. Please credit I Ags You I as that is my new account I made discovery on.

I'll leave this open for others to confirm, also does it give more or less than 3?

 

 

 

Or is it consistantly 3 and nothing else.

I myself have only gotten 3 iron bolts although it is possible that there could be varying amounts. Maybe I'll try killing some to get another drop later. Also could it be possible that the camelot highwaymen are the only ones that drop iron bolts? As they are the only highwaymen in a members only area and iron bolts are a members only item they may require their own droplist? If you would like me to test some highwayman kills I will kill them for a while although how many would you suggest I kill in order to get an accurate idea of whether or not it's only the Camelot highwaymen or all of them on members worlds?

Ok I'm just about to kill some highwaymen to get another drop.

Sorry there's only a link. Don't know where I messed up. But the point is I got a second iron bolt drop. It took me 18 kills.

next time I'm on, I'll kill a few dozen to confirm

 

 

 

EDIT: I was skeptical, but after two dozen kills, I DID receive 12 iron bolts from a Level 5 Highwayman then another 4 a few kills later, then 6 and 7 shortly after and then 3. It looks like 3-12 would be a safe range.

 

 

 

I was wearing a Ring of Wealth, if that matters.

Before I add this to the bestiary entry, I'll kill some highwaymen for a bit to see if I can't improve on SG's estimate. You can probably expect the drop information to be up sometime in the evening; I'll make another post here to keep you informed.
