ovorette
Do super restore potions have any advantage over a prayer potion in relation to prayer points? I know they restore other stats but I am only interested in any difference with respect to prayer.
Cactuaar
Only difference regarding prayer points is that it restores 1 more prayer point per dose, so 4 per full potion.
ovorette
So if one dose of regular prayer potion restores 33% of my total prayer level, then one dose of super restore would restore 33% plus one more point? Sorry to be dense about this
JoeDaStudd
Depending on the situation simply replace 1 inventory slot with holy wrench and there like for like on the prayer front. The only reason anyone will use them over prayer pots is for the other restores. Think the sara brew super restore combo or a monster which drains your stats and requires prayer (ahrims for example). Cptbaker08
Or if you're using Prayer and Summoning and need to summon another creature but can't due to lack of points. The main thing they are used with is Sara Brews to help negate the effects of the Brews. Cactuaar
So if one dose of regular prayer potion restores 33% of my total prayer level, then one dose of super restore would restore 33% plus one more point? Sorry to be dense about this  It's not always 33%. I think it was something like 25% of your level plus 7 more prayer points. At lvl 72, I get 25 per dose of prayer potion. A super restore would give 26 prayer points. But like others have said, super restores are more used for their restoration combination with saradomin brews, and for summoning points. The one extra point from prayer potions will hardly help. If you have 20 super restores, it is 80 extra prayer, at a much greater cost.

J35u5_M4
Super Restore Potions heals 1 more prayer point each dose, the only reason it is way more costly, is because it also restores stats (Let's say you're 80 attack but you got downed to 70 due to using a saradomin brew) it'll heal back your attack to 80 (Sometimes when it's too low it'll require more doses). People use it for Boss Hunting, they heal with saradomin brew and get their stats back up with the Super Restore
cat666
For regular use then use a pray pot. The Holy Wrench isn't worth carrying with you, better off using the inven slot for an extra prayer potion. Super restores are only really used to renew stats, usually after a sara brew, but also in PvP after someone uses there BGS spec on you. They are also used to renew summoning points at far off training spots. For example Dark Beasts. Trust the Gene Genie!
