P.S i have about 4m to use(even though this will drop me to about 170k left afterwards) i was thinking about getting my farm to 70 and my smithing to 73 so i can complete my varrock diary(only need 1 more slayer lvl and 16 rc lvls to complete fally which is my last one) but im not sure about how to get the lvl's. any suggestions? skylor12344
okie thank you, i figured out how many shards i need now i just need to find out how much its going to cost me in total xD
Mercifull
The CharmPlanner above is pretty good but it doesnt distinguish between pouches that use lots of shards or use expensive secondary ingredients. It goes purely on best exp. How many of each charm do you have and I will try to give some advice on what to use etc? JoeDaStudd
The pouches which need to be made are: Make 634 of Ibis Make 873 of Spirit terrorbird Make 65 of Karamthulhu overlord Make 179 of Smoke devil Make 292 of Stranger plant Final Level: 65 Simply untick the ones which suck on an exp/gp point of view. Mercifull
Smoke devil is the only pain to make out of that list. If you didnt make them and did this instead: Make 873 of Spirit terrorbird Make 634 of Ibis Make 198 of Bloated leech Make 139 of Spirit cobra Make 134 of Stranger plant Then you would get to level 64 (444,947.6 exp) Do not waste your blue charms at your level, save them until level 79. If you waited until 79 you would get 47,968.8 exp and if you waited until 83 like i did you would get 50,397.6 exp. An increase of 15,180 exp for the same number of charms. It's not the point that you won't be able to train summoning for awhile, its the fact that you actually PLAN on training summoning in the future. If you plan on going past 68, it's smart to keep the blues. Besides using them won't get you to your goal whether you use them or not, and you will be lower on money than before. Just train slayer, which will increase both your charm count and your money, there you have it. Now when you obtain the charms for 68 you won't be to poor to afford actually getting the levels. /end Reasoning for keeping blue charms. Apparently, my signature was to big. skylor12344
ok im not going to use blues then, its just going to take me longer to get the crimsons i need for 68 than it would if i used blues
Mercifull
ok im not going to use blues then, its just going to take me longer to get the crimsons i need for 68 than it would if i used bluesBut it will be worth it in the long run. If you make sure you kill Bork daily too you get 7 crimsons, 5 blues and 2 greens. By the time you get to level 79 you should have a good couple of hundred blues. Just 280 blue charms (2 months worth) at level 79 is 194,656 exp, enough to take you up a whole level. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. ultimatballr
ok im not going to use blues then, its just going to take me longer to get the crimsons i need for 68 than it would if i used blues Great things come with time buddy. Just have to be patient enough to complete them : If you wanted, since you won't be 68 summoning. You can hold off on training summoning altogether until you have enough crims and golds for 68. Training with those will ensure you have green charms to make your own Bunyip pouches, it will also be cheaper to train with purely Crimsons and Golds. That is your choice though. Maybe set other goals that are non-summoning related. Like a 99 melee skill (through slayer ofc) or an actual slayer goal like 80/83/85 something like that. Apparently, my signature was to big. skylor12344
only problem is that i've already got the shards and pouches for it, still havent got the 2nd's to buy yet so i guess i can still change my mind although i only have 1.8m right now until i sell my shards/pouches
curmudgeony
I might go out on a limb here, but I used a few blues on mith minotaurs and have been happy with them as a combat familiar. Don't use all of the blues though, you never know if you might need a hard to buy familiar. I would avoid greens unless you had no other choice. The shard cost vs exp can be kinda steep. One thing I will mention, I was ranging greaters in the ogre enclave and got 25 or so crims out of an assignment of 150. While not fantastic, I did find them to be a fair charm dropper. Rudyaard
If you want blue charms, kill warped tortoises! I got 18 blues in a task of 160! I don't know if I got lucky, or it's the way they're supposed to be but I'm sure happy :D
