Championfurydelta123
i need a quick and cost efficent way to train mage. currently 75 By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius
Gin_and_Tonic
Mine iron ores and supeheat them ... That makes money. Or i've been told flethcing (U) maples and alching loses like 80k per 1k. I've not tested the theory, but it seems like a good method.
ghost4sale1
A great way to train magic is... unfortunately is to have a lot of money to blow and high alch. Now if you want to make money while training magic you could super heat ores. Just don't over plan. :) My signature got deleted :( And I lost all the links. Thanks Gandorf61. Gilformen
or if you have a high tolerance for boredom, or just plain crazy, you can enchant at the mage training arena. lvl 5 enchant (onyx) unlocked at lvl 87 gives ~75k xp/hr. dragonstone enchant at lvl 68 is a bit slower. 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore
Cptbaker08
A great way to train magic is... unfortunately is to have a lot of money to blow and high alch Ancient rock lobsters or Skeleton Monkies. Now if you want to make money while training magic you could super heat ores. Just don't over plan. :) Thats the best way to spend if you have a lot of money. Alching isn't that great way of training magic. Just about the easiest way to do so. Jaffy1
I did most my magic superheating while mining and alcing stuff I smithed. Next to that I did a fair bit with casting Fire Waves on Black Demons for slayer. Might I suggest that if you decide to do a little combat-related magic, you raise kittens (when not summoning anyways) to sell them for 100 death runes each. That'll make some money for blood runes if you can use them. Feed the kittens cooked shrimp. That's cheap. Superheating: Mining ores to superheat would be good, but if you don't wish to mine here's some prices for you. Nature runes: 257 Gp Iron ore/bar: 145/326 Profit: 69 Gp Coal: 208 Gp Mithril ore/bar: 371/1494 With coal: 4*208+371+257= 1460. Profit: 34 Gp Adamantite ore/bar: 1280/2797 With coal: 6*208= 1248. Profit: 12 Gp Alcing: Buy things in the Grand Exchange for around 250 Gp under the Alcing Value if you can, otherwise for such a prize to minimize losses. Mind you that this is a slow way of making some extra experience. I did the last 60K or so experience for my magic 86 doing this. Items I alced with profit: Rune Longsword. Rune Full helm. Adamant plateskirt. Items I alced with little loss: Adamant pickaxe (bought them for around 1700 Gp). Of the items mentioned, the adamant pickaxe would be the one that buys fairly quickly, the other items take many days. Other than that you could also just fletch yew longbows to alc with profit, or if you do wish to level mining/smithing you could always smith bars and alc the platebodies you smith. If you choose that, you'll only get profit when mining the coal (partially) yourself. Tip.It Website Crew Leader[hide=Quotes]I love it how Jafje comes outa nowhere and answers my questionsHehe now we know what real life does...drugs, drugs, more drugs. Thank god we are addicted to something that won't kill us. [/hide]

Zaaps1
Mine iron ores and supeheat them ... That makes money. No, that runs a loss. Keep in mind that while you may want to level it quickly and get it over with, you still want to look at the big picture. Which method is ultimately the most beneficial in the long run? Simple answer, really: Rock Lobsters. I can really recommend no other. But of course, there are also the little things that drives people away from those, so you could always enchant bolts. ~It's Super Effective! mughinn
i always though that leveling things that also tain other things is better, so IMO, superheating, bursting/barraging rock losbters or superglass make.
