Lutefisk, that word is directly taken from Norwegian and means Lye-fish, it is, as the name indicates, fish(fisk) treated with lye(lut(soap ingredient)).

Do not put soap on fish, lye is only an ingredient in soap, buy some lutefisk in the nearest place that sells it. Although I warn you, a lot of people disslike it because of its... well... uhm... I'm not shure actually.

Npeo, it only tastes like bacon crisps, I know because I have eaten it myself but only once sadly.
