64-91 Herblore

Well, taking a break from my usual combat related things I decided to a bit of skilling, one of a few possible things on my list is 91 Herblore.

I know the cost of Herblore is high at the moment but if it's really only going to cost like 15m extra or something I don't care.

First off, is getting a boost of 5 rare from a stew? Overloads are not my reason for getting this level but knowing I could stew to them would be nice.

And last, what would estimated cost to 91 be (Possibly 92 if 5 is too hard to get from a stew). I do have a decent cash pile but I don't want to blow all of it on some fancy potions. If I could get it for like 80m ish or something I would be fine with that.

id do the math for whatevers the best pot to the first set of untradable pots, then go from there.

you dont wanna stuck with 10000s of untradable pots if u concentrate on the cheapest one, just do several thousand of each once you hit those levels.

91 Herblore from 64 would cost about 71.5M (roughly 13 gp/xp) if you just made Super Attack potions. The next best potion is Zamorak brews but they cost about 20 gp/xp right now. Super Attacks are by far the best cost-effective choice. All of the extreme potions are under 20 gp/xp right now except for Extreme Strength (~51 gp/xp!) and Extreme Defence (~21.5 gp/xp) If you ever plan on using the extremes or even overload, I would recommend doing Super Attacks til you can make extremes. Then make extremes in equal amounts. I believe if you made extremes only from when you can til lvl 99, the best option is to make about 3k of each, then make 3k overloads when you can. Overloads are about 13.5 gp/xp I believe (but I'm not 100% sure about that).

Good luck with 91 herb.

I would imagine overloads being very slow, though.

The +5 boost isn't rare at all. I got it 24 times so far in 333 stews, so 1/14 or something. I only watched smithing though, but I'd imagine the average would be about the same for every skill.

Sadly still no +6 smithing boost after 333 stews, trying to get a +6 is a complete waste of time. :-|

I believe your other questions have been answered.
