October 27, 200916 yr 1. Yes - they are a good task to cannon2. No single Combat3. Very good slayer xp Beware when cannoning, they will use Mage attack on you until you can melee them.
October 27, 200916 yr Is there a guide that shows the best way to deal with them? Don't remember seeing guide, but in reality you don't need one. Wear Prossy gear & if poss wield SGS for pray bonuses. Pray Melee & just hack away at them. I tend to take a couple of bunyips & only pray melee when my HP is less than 50, using Bunyip & SGS to heal up. This saves quite a few prayer points. If you've done new quest you can add Temple of Light to the teleport Crystal, which saves you having to wear mourner gear.

No Safespots - if you range them from behind rock, they will mage you. I suppose you could set cannon up & then run round corner to hide, that would probably hit multiples, but imo not worth the hassle. They are a good task to 'AFK' & the XP is very good - although will take you a while to complete.

I do exactly the same thing, except that I just wear Bandos. You still use a minimal amount of prayer pots (depends a bit on luck with your defense).
