Obtaurian
Do me a favor and take a gander at the Player vs Player forum. See anything unusual? The entire front page is bloated with players looking for 76king partners. I was under the impression that the Player vs Player forum was used for sanctioning fights, not abusing Jagex' faulty PVP drop system. This is a simple suggestion: lock all topics asking for tricking partners and make it against the rules. I don't think I need to explain anything further. Thank you. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off. Ermy
It's most probably just random people panicing that they can't find anyone, and i support your idea!!! Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
InkofDeath
Jagex has said in the past that they do not like the feature, but they're not going to punish people for doing it. And they're trying to 'fix' this issue. Tip.It won't have to keep a rule or guideline regarding 76k'ing for a while if Jagex is really committed to seeing it go away. Shazarabbit
Use the report feature that is what it is there for. Report one post and just write a little message saying there are others on the main page. You will more than likely find that a moderator dedicated to that forum hasn't seen the topics yet. There hasn't been a direct stance on it, but if it is spamming a forum then something may need to be looked at. It currently isn't against the rules ( ? ), so there's no action we can really take. Once Jagex remove it or make it against the rules, we can take action. Youmu
No support. 76k/26k tricking is a big flaw in PvP, and advertising it will just expand the problem. Skeptical
I don't think that this should be added: I don't feel that the community should support it. "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security." Support transparency... and by extension, freedom and democracy. InkofDeath
No support. 76k/26k tricking is a big flaw in PvP, and advertising it will just expand the problem. Pures were a flaw not only in the PvP system, but also in the Combat system. How long will we have to go with 76k'ing, before it's generally accepted or not cared for by the majority? Jagex publicly said 76king was an issue, and the community is using this as a way to 1) Pronounce that whatever Jagex posts about is always true (so if they call a bug a bug, then it must be a bug), 2) Thinking it's a bad thing to do, because Jagex doesn't like it/against it. Because of the small majority using the 76king method, they're benefiting a lot more than if the vast majority of the community were to use it. The minority using it now are able to afford the items they want. If everyone started using this method, the prices on everything would (or rather should) increase drastically. This may be one of the many reasons why Jagex doesn't want it to become popular. Also because they overlooked something in their brand new PvP system, so they feel compelled to fix it. InkofDeath
Pures don't cause there to be a lot more money/items in the game, 76k-ing does. That wasn't the point I was making in the first paragraph. Jagex had a strange attitude to Pures, with saying they weren't 'predicted' and 'unintended', and then later stated that we can enjoy the game how we want to. These statements caused a lot of hate on pures. The point in the first paragraph is that the community at large is going to be with or against whatever Jagex is against or with. I don't mind if Tip.It supports it or not, or bans it entirely, I'm just trying to point out the reasons to why it may not be a good thing to ban it because Jagex has stated it as unintended. Obtaurian
Even if it's not against Jagex or Tipit rules, I feel that those posts don't belong there. That subforum is for finding fights with people, and 76king does NOT fall under the category of fighting. Make it against the rules on the basis that 76king is not fighting. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
