Nopnoob
So I'm gonna semi-quit, but first do some skilling (Nothing big tho) At the moment I have a 161m cashpile, and probably a 175m bank. Buying an arcane would leave me with about 25m left for skilling, which seems fine but I think will go down the drain.Buying a spectral would leave me with about 55m, so thats an extra 30m..I've also never had one.. Which one would be the neatest? I know this seems stupid buying a spirit shield for skilling, but I'm gonna make a tight outfit. So, don't flame. ~Nop Noob Dutchy

Manorexic
Both look awesome lol, so just go with the cheaper! Plus no-one can tell the difference between them lol! Drops: 2 Bandos chestplates 2 Bandos hilt, 2 Armadyl hilts, at least 3 of every single Barrows item. Bladewing
Plus no-one can tell the difference between them lol! :rolleyes:So much truth in this. Just get a BSS so you can have more money for training more skills than just fletching/cooking. Nopnoob
A bss I lol'd Point is im getting one of the expensive shields and just quit. I might not even do skilling. Btw, wtf fletching/cooking? Who said anything about them. I'm planning on getting all 65 or 70 if I cbf... Dutchy
Bladewing
A bss I lol'dI assumed you were getting it for the look. Since BSS and the sigiled shields look nearly identical, I suggested the cheaper one. If you want to quit, just quit. If you want something to "protect your value" while you leave, I suggest Dragon Bones instead of a shield that could be replaced by another high level shield.Btw, wtf fletching/cooking? Who said anything about them. I'm planning on getting all 65 or 70 if I cbf...25m won't get you very far in most skills. Prayer, Construction, Herblore, Crafting, Smithing, and Summoning would each cost more than 50m to get to 99. Bladewing
God. who said anything about 99's -.- Why in hell would I buy d bones if I might never return -.- please get out of my thread, lolThose values were given to demonstrate the price of those skills, not necessarily that you were trying to get a cape or something. Why buy an expensive shield if you might never return? The point is you might return, and many people do. I was just trying to help, but at your request I'm leaving; I hope you find some people do be yes-men for you to validate your plans. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit

He doesnt just say things for the heck of them, he says them because they hold fact or a very educated opinion. You're a fool for not accepting his advice. Anyway, a spectral would be better imo. If you do choose to return i suspect a spectral would offer more cash return as it is more often used (atleast according to what i've seen). **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
Obtaurian
Spending it all on dragon bones would definitely be the best way to hold (and raise) the value of your bank. You WILL come back. Make no mistake. Anyway, I've always liked Arcanes more than Spectrals. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
i_D_r
imo d bones would be the best thing to spend on, however, I think jagex may remove statues or limit them immensely, so just holding your cash might be better. But in terms of spectral/arcane, you can't tell the difference really, so get the cheaper one. For utility, I'd grab up the spectral. Arcane is only for pvp activities. krimi
You've got to be kidding me. People gave you, nicely, their personal preference and you get mad at them? Not to mention the fact that you made a help thread on personal preference? Really? Help with what? It seems like you're set on buying x or y without really considering the benefits of either item. You really need help on that?

krimi
I'm judgmental, yet you're the one making random tangents about me getting beat up at school because you've misinterpreted my use of the phrase personal preference.
