Wahsac
Hi All Do you Runecrafters buy your Ess or mine it yourselves ?
armybuilder
Buy it myself for sure. Althought it depends on what your trying to do iif you want pure profit then Mine it yourself. Or if you want the xp then buy it. The higher your runecrafting level the more you should buy it yourself tbh [spoiler=Clans]Current Events Leader of Tal Shiar AllianceCurrent Raid Leader of Wilderness GuardiansCurrent Old School Power Ranger of Team Power RangersCurrent Member of Clan EuropeEx Member of Team Dark Legacy (R.I.P)Ex Paladin of Old Age Militos DeciEx Leader of New Age Militos DeciEx Early Veteran of Pk Masters (R.I.P)
depresins
Whether you should buy it or not depends on how much money you can make an hour using other methods. For example, if you can mine 1k essence in an hour, or make enough money to buy 3k essence in an hour, you should buy it. The mining exp shouldn't be considered as in this case, you could just earn enough to buy 2k essence then mine for 20 minutes to make up the experience. Ronan
I'd love to be able to say that i'm entirely self-sufficient and that I mine it all - but that's not the case. I buy all the essence that I craft, to be honest - haven't really ever mined Essence much at all. :)
Skeptical
I usually buy about 2/3, and mine the other 1/3 while I'm waiting for it to buy on the G.E. Kidd_Varrow
I get my essence from GOP and now from Cromperty as per the Ardougne diary reward. I haven't mined it in a long time.

Youmu
Seeing that most Runecrafting methods make profit, buying the essence is a definite must. :) BlogTrimmed | Master Quester | Final BossBoss pets: Bombi | Shrimpy | Ellie | Tz-Rek Jad | Karil the Bobbled | Mega Ducklings120s: Dungeoneering | Invention

lagatag
When rc first came out I mined my own essence mainly, but after I was able to make enough runes to earn back more then the cost of essence I just bought it. Now with the GE and regular/pure essence I would only mine it if you don't really have good money making stats and are p2p to mine pure essence to sell.
