Higher Level summoning.

I currently have 88 Summoning. I've been using mostely Crimsons since 74 because its cheaper and much faster than Greens and Golds. If i use the Gold and Greens i currently have (2600Gold and 1600Green) I could get an additional 450k Exp by making Barker Toads and Unicorns with them. This however will const me 9.5m. I can't see any vallue in that. Gold are not the Porblem, its actually just Greens. Gold however are slow as hell.

Is it still worth using Gold Charms at 88+ Summoning? If yes, then what woudl be my best pouch to make?

Also i find Green Charm pouches to be very costly. Is this because i make the wrong pouches? What should i use my Green Charms for?

Also what would be the best to use my Blue Charms on? I am willing to save them up if i do not have the level required for the suggested Pouch.

And then lastly, should i stick to Granite Pouches untill 99 Summoning?

The 450k you get from those add up. I haven't made Unicorns yet. I just did fruit bats. You can look at the 2 and decide the costs for them.

With blues do either Geyser Titans or Moss Titans. Geysers if you want to spend some more gp for the exp. Crimsons you can continue with Granite Lobsters, or do Swamp Titans. Once you can make Pack Yaks do those.

Gold charms are still exp, and not very costly either. Stick with Barkers if you want, or do Artic Bears. But those cost quite a bit.

One unicorn is one green charm, 140 shards, one unicorn horn, and one pouch. 5002 coins.

10 Unicorn scrolls is 3160 coins, and 156.2 xp. A loss of 1842 coins, or 11.8gp/xp if you're interested.

One swamp titan is one crimson charm, 150 shards, one swamp lizard, and one pouch. 5001 coins.

One swamp titan swaps in for 105 shards, which is worth 2625 and gains you 373.6 xp. A loss of 2376 coins, or 6.36gp/xp if you're interested.

Say you have 1k green charms. To use these, you will gain 156.2k xp and lose 11,800k coins. To get this xp with swamp titans, you'd have to gather 418 crimsons. Using the charms will cost you 993k. You'd also have to spend about 4 hours at waterfiends (we'll say with 0 net profit), and if we value time at 1m/hour (reasonable assumption for you), the same xp will cost near 5m with crimsons. So this shows that unicorns are unquestionably not worth using.

But what about fruit bats?

One fruit bat is one green charm, 130 shards, one banana, and one pouch. 3353 coins.

10 fruitfall scrolls is 3240 coins, and 122.6 xp. A loss of 93 coins, or 0.76gp/xp, if you're interested.

Say you have 1k green charms. To use these, you will gain 122.6k xp and lose 93k coins. To get this xp with swamp titans, you'd have to gather another 328 crimsons. Using the charms will cost you 861k. You'd also have to spend about 3 hours at waterfiends (we'll say with 0 net profit), and if we value time at 1m/hour (reasonable assumption for you), the same xp will cost near 3.8m with crimsons. So this shows that fruit bats are unquestionably worth using.

Your problem was that you were using unicorns ;)

It costs, for example, about 4k per charm to get crimson charms via bursting, not to mention the time it takes to get them. When calculating whether golds/greens would be worth using you should always take the 'price' of the crimsons into account. Getting more crimsons is usually less inefficient than paying slightly more and using your golds/greens.

Use them if you have them anyway, but if you're collecting charms hunt for crimsons (duh :P)

Currently i'm just doing Slayer. This will probably be how i get 99 Summoning so i'm not really going out of my way to collect charms. I guess that i will however use my Green Charms as soon as i can now, assuming the price of Fruit bats are unchanged.

To bladewing: However, they dropped since the Fruitfall nerf, so your calculations are obsolete. Although, if fruit bats remain at a high price, they are still worth using.

That was using today's prices. As long as the pouch is above 2570 or the scrolls are above 257, fruit bats are worth making.
