Mischlings Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 I saw a video last night of a solo kill of the Corporeal Beast, and I noticed that this weapon was used. I don't plan on trying that -- I don't have the skills or skill, though I do other things solo (mostly Bandos), so I was wondering: how good is this for soloing other boss monsters? I know it costs an arm and a leg and disintegrates after an hour, so is it at all possible to profit and use the warhammer, or is it just for fun/Corp soloing? Loffelicious Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 The people who solo the corporal beast with it sais that you almost certainly will end up losing money, even from killing the corporal beast, unless you're very lucky with the drops. So I'd guess that it would cost more than the rewards.. But that is just a guess. I'm not sure if it would be worth it at bandos though for soloing, don't even bother trying it in any size clan at bandos. If you buy the non corrupt hammer it lasts for 1 hour OF COMBAT which means if you can manage to only take a few seconds for one special that hits you should be able to get at least 100 kills with it. Sinkhan Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 Well one of the reasons it was even possible to solo the corp was because of the hammer's spec, which dropped the defence of the beast by 30%. For most other bosses it's unnecessary since the defence isn't ridiculous and you won't be fighting for nearly as long. It is a pretty awesome spec, so taking 2-3 seconds to spec with it, it'd last 1200 specs which is a pretty immense number considering its use.
