Training Farming Quickly

Featured Replies

Admittedly, I've neglected farming for my entire runescape career. Now, for an undisclosed reason, I need to get it to 65, and I'd like to do it rather quickly.

I've got a lot of cash to spend, and I'm just wondering if herbs and trees were really the only viable ways of getting xp for farming in an efficient manner. If there are any other ways to help my training to 65 progress quicker, I'm all ears.

The best thing to do is farm trees and fruit trees. Buy the more expensive seeds if you want quicker levels. This is really the best way. Of course, you should throw in herbs for great profit and decent xp and bushes for a significant xp boost/profit.

If you need further help, let me direct you to my AoW farming guide. The link is in my sig.

could also do some vinesweeper

Orange trees are one of the few fruit trees that actually profit from planting if you just use supercompost. About 2 oranges cover the cost of a seed and the other 2 cover supercompost (But you shouldn't be buying it anyway with so many ways of getting pineapples)

f you're only doing it for WGS, I'd get 62 and use a garden pie. That's what I did. You only need to boost to 65 for the very beginning of the quest.

As for getting to 62, I'd say if you're loaded, do the best wood/fruit tress you can. If you're not, do willows and curries. Herb runs (Toadflax/Irit) are a great way to break even.
