noble_aloof
Ello and happy thanksgiving. I've been doing a lot of slayer lately and i was wondering if broad bolt making is a good way to make cash? looking at the prices, even if i buy all supplies from the GE I'll still be making quite a lot of money (as far as fletching is concerned).. have any of you done it? is it worth 300 points? thank you Staking: 4+ mil Current Status: Training defense
stormveritas
You're much better served to buy the bolts from lapalok / duradel on a daily basis. The price is much lower, and by doing less of the boltmaking at a time, you insulate yourself from price volatility. If the profitability of the job falls off, you're not vested in tens of thousands, so you won't lose much.

Gin_and_Tonic
I would say they are. The tips from the masters are about 52ea? for 3k a day. You make money just dumping then unf on GE, but you'd make alot more if you flectched them. Check out how many slayer darts you can buy with 300 points, then see the number of days it would take to make that cash using broads off masters. I wouldnt bank of always getting unf from ge. noble_aloof
thanks guys. i read an inactive guide on zybez where the guy claimed to have made huge profits. however, since the shop update, he announced that it no longer worked. obviously with the recent spike in broad bolts it still works in theory. even if i can only get 3k from each master every day thats still a good profit, and i'm sure i'll be able to find some on the ge. hell, i could even start a forum thread to get people to buy them and sell them to me. i guess this question is resolved unless anyone has done it recently and wishes to contribute. thanks again Staking: 4+ mil Current Status: Training defense
tigershelby2
Like someone else said, you can buy them and sell them even without the ability to fletch them. Personally i buy 3k each day and i currently have about 30k of them from not even buying every day. Now once i buy the ability i will have a fairly large amount of stock to fletch at once and make a hefty profit. But thats just me  Barrows: Verac- Helm, Brassard x 2,Torag- Body, HammersKaril- CrossbowGuthan- BodyAhrim- Hood, Staff
Troacctid
The great thing about making money with bolt-fletching is that you can carry the bolts with you to all sorts of places and fletch wherever you happen to be. For example, you can fletch broad bolts while training agility and still do your laps at the same exact speed, or you can bring them with you while pickpocketing and fletch when you're stunned...it's a good thing to be able to do.
