don't really have time for moderating this, could you all please work together to moderate this - anything you want on the front page please PM me and i'll put it on.

i've also explained how to work out money.

 

Please update the map regularly or it'll be really confusing, players who haven't actually played could probably be taken by newer willing to play players (IE there country and colours but not there research and stuff)

It probably does but moderating with a group of people who keep asking.

and i'm ok with that its a bit annoying, its helpful to talk as it kind of tells them whats ok and whats not.

 

What I hate most is under enthusiastic people, the rest of the people are like

"i'm America"

and then they do absoloutly nothing!

 

I think moderating on a forum like this (with a hegemony like the one I have set up) would be a lot easier because people know exactly how to play and people aren't afraid to help although they are albiet a bit more harsh on people.

So you make sure that your expansions are okay with the megaliiance. It's not that hard - if I remember correctly, Dusty was willing to give me Iceland in Hegemony V1 with everything on it intact, and most people didn't mind me moving out to the Asteroid Belt either.

If anyone who is deeply religious (and proselytizing) I tell them I am a Satanist (or that I follow Cthulhu) But currently I try to be a quiet atheist.

Devout atheist would simply mean not believing in anything science has not proven. Regular atheist with some (well reasoned) belief in some aspects of the supernatural (like precognitive dreaming) here.

I believe that there is an afterlife worth going to that discriminates between the good and the evil. I believe there is some massive, at least semi-sentient force that created the universe. I believe in evolution, and that it may have been guided by a force that wished for life able to contemplate said force and its ideals. I was born into a Christian family, though my mother is the only democrat and non-radical on her side of the family, so by default I have some tendencies towards a Christian god. But most certainly not the Christian church.

My predictions for the new game:

 

Rocco will do a bunch of stupid asinine things, and then backstab people thinking he's being all sneaky

Retech will concentrate all his effort on NPCs then get all flustered when he gets into a conflict with another player

Arch will try to screw up everything everyone else is doing but never actually go to war

Doom will concentrate on being a nation 'ahead of its time', being extremely isolationist and not caring about anything else going on

Sere will try to build a utopia for his people, and attempt to be the diplomat and mediator between conflicts

Dungeonal will mess around with his GM abilities for the lulz

Hex will do bat[cabbage] [developmentally delayed]ed stuff with his people, get everyone mad at him, post some random garbage, and then eventually get kicked from the thread

If Paul joins, he'll go around and conquer stuff, just because

Ross will build a myraid of defensive structures around his planet and never really leave it to do anything, instead devoting all of his resources to building more defensive structures, because 'somebody might attack me!'

Grim will smash stuff. Because he's Grim. There need not be any sort of plan behind his actions, or any sort of goal other then to just destroy stuff.

And Mather will try to make alliances with everyone and make sure everything he builds is based off of Stargate. He will also make several references to how great Norway is throughout the thread.

 

Its kinda funny how true this is.

Just so you know, a group of ten Americans with Norwegian roots from a reality show called Alt for Norge[All for Norway] apparently share my views, describing Norway as the most bautiful place they've ever seen and things like that. When they had come down six left they even felt Svalbard was beautiful after camping there in tents during the "night" (" " because there was midnight sun).

He tried for 2 I think, not hard though, I beat him to them. And he's been in no wars, although i think he might of sent a small force to china.

We had a vote on weather or not to ban stargate. I believe it came up a few times

Oh, and I joked about project Arcturus (due to the Arcturus system being on the map), then Archi responded with what I'd require to start researching it.
