October 28, 200520 yr Runescape seems to have a few fads. What are the ones you know about? I know a few: 1. "pl0z", etc - a variation of the newbie "plz". It seems to have started from autoer commuinities, but has spread to legit people. 2. "dancing" - people "dance" in Runescape by following each other in circles. It seems to be very evident on server 3. 3. Also, I don't know if this is a fad or not, but many female charatcers seem to like dressing in a white top in a rune skirt. October 29, 200520 yr Yes, there are many "fads," but the truth is, that other than words like "plox" and "rofllmaom," fads are just something that have to happen. I mean, no matter what you wear in Runescape, I can garentee you that someone has, is, or will wear the exact same thing. It's inevitable. However, when it's something entirely blown out of proportion like phats, where people will pay almost 100 million gp for one stupid blue item, then it's out of hand...and quite sad. Hell, if I am going to be following any "fad" in Runescape, it'll be the "I raise my skills, talk to friends, and have fun" fad. ;) |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|

This sure is a quirky topic :) Fads? I thought fads were usually about pants length, hairsyltes, and social tendencies. Now, it's how the word "please" is spelled in a computer game? I may be the only one, but I'll go ahead and change my hair. lpinkus

October 30, 200520 yr Level 66's wearing full red and blue castle wars armor with a granite maul. In fact, almost every mid-level carrying a maul. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
