RuneScape fads?

Featured Replies

Runescape seems to have a few fads. What are the ones you know about?

I know a few:

1. "pl0z", etc - a variation of the newbie "plz". It seems to have started from autoer commuinities, but has spread to legit people.

2. "dancing" - people "dance" in Runescape by following each other in circles. It seems to be very evident on server 3.

3. Also, I don't know if this is a fad or not, but many female charatcers seem to like dressing in a white top in a rune skirt.

"from autoer community", "evident on server 3", dude wdf....

Yes, there are many "fads," but the truth is, that other than words like "plox" and "rofllmaom," fads are just something that have to happen. I mean, no matter what you wear in Runescape, I can garentee you that someone has, is, or will wear the exact same thing. It's inevitable.

However, when it's something entirely blown out of proportion like phats, where people will pay almost 100 million gp for one stupid blue item, then it's out of hand...and quite sad.

Hell, if I am going to be following any "fad" in Runescape, it'll be the "I raise my skills, talk to friends, and have fun" fad. ;)

This sure is a quirky topic :)

Fads? I thought fads were usually about pants length, hairsyltes, and social tendencies. Now, it's how the word "please" is spelled in a computer game? I may be the only one, but I'll go ahead and change my hair.

It's a fad? I always assumed it was a pandemic.

What is a fad:

If it feels good do it

What is a fad:

Something that lots of people do at the same time but quickly change to something else

Words like plz, pl0z and any of the others are not fads they are censor avoiders

Dancing comes under the first defination, its fun and enjoyable for everyone...people who dont like it are too uptight

Lots of people wearing the samething is only a fad when by the next week(at least) are wearing something else, other than that its just the walking people with a fashion sense(which is thick)... Its a DRESS.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

That's not a fad, that's just immaturity. I'd report someone for that.
