Man, I really like that Califone record. All My Friends are Funeral Singers. Those that are interested in the more experimental Folk music should hear this!

The decade:

1. Kid A - Radiohead

2. Elephant - The White Stripes

3. For Emma, Forever Ago - Bon Iver

4. Funeral - Arcade Fire

5. The Moon & Antarctica - Modest Mouse

6. Dear Science - TV On The Radio

7. The Creek Drank The Cradle - Iron & Wine

8. Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes

9. Is This It? - The Strokes

10. In Rainbows - Radiohead

I think that's a pretty solid list, although not definitive.

I don't really have my own list, but I have to say I definitely agree with the majority of this one. Maybe replace The White Stripes with Absolution by Muse, and that'll be perfect.

Top 8 of 2000-2009

Because I couldn't think of 10 albums that I like every song on and can listen all the way through over and over.

Amy Macdonald: This is the Life

Coldplay: Viva La Vida

Editors: In This Light and On this Evening

Ian Brown: My Way

Mark Knopfler: Sailing to Philadelphia

Mutemath: Armistice

R.E.M. : Live at the Olympia

The Good, the Bad, and the Queen: The Good, the Bad, and the Queen

Hm. Uh... albums from 2k9. Dx

No Sacrifice, No Victory - Hammerfall

The Days of Grays - Sonata Arctica

Wearing a Martyr's Crown - Nightrage

Aaaand, Atmosphere's Leak At Will.

I can't think of anything else. ._.

I consider No Sacrifice, No Victory a horrid album, one of the most generic uninspired power metal albums i've ever heard.icon_e_confused.gif
