December 27, 200916 yr Most people just fish monkfish because of the money and xp. I know fishing monkfish is better cash than fishing sharks, especially at 88 fishing.

You could probably make roundabouts 200k gp/hr off sharks (give or take), which is so-so. If I were you I'd catch monkfish so that you can switch to rocktails sooner--rocktails are significantly better than sharks and it'll take ages to get there if your xp is coming from shark fishing.
